What this is

Vivati is a private legacy platform. It lets people record their voice, stories, and memories so that family members can access a Companion, an AI presence built from those recordings, after they are gone.

What we collect

  • ·Your name and email address, used to create and identify your account.
  • ·Written stories and answers to prompts, stored as text in our database.
  • ·Audio recordings you upload, stored in a private cloud bucket.
  • ·Photos and videos you upload, stored in cloud storage.
  • ·Conversation messages between you and a Companion, stored to maintain context.
  • ·Basic usage data such as login count and message timestamps.

How we use it

  • ·To operate the Vault and Companion features as described.
  • ·To generate AI responses using your recorded content via Anthropic (Claude).
  • ·To clone your voice using ElevenLabs when you have uploaded voice samples.
  • ·To improve the product based on feedback you give us directly.
  • ·We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Vivati:

  • ·Supabase: database and file storage (data stored in EU/US regions).
  • ·Anthropic: AI responses generated from your recordings.
  • ·ElevenLabs: voice cloning from your uploaded audio.
  • ·Vercel: hosting and infrastructure.
  • ·Stripe: payment processing.

Your recordings and stories are sent to Anthropic and ElevenLabs to generate responses. They are not used to train those companies' models under their current enterprise agreements.

Your rights

  • ·You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
  • ·You can request a copy of your data by emailing us.
  • ·You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal means your data will be deleted.
  • ·If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data, recordings, stories, and conversation history are permanently deleted within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
